Community & Content Guidelines

Vybly exists to make real-world human connections feel safe, natural, and meaningful. These Community & Content Guidelines outline the behavior and content standards that apply to all users — both online and at in-person experiences.
By using Vybly or attending a Vybly experience, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Our Community Principles
Vybly is built on:
- Respect
- Safety
- Consent
- Inclusivity
- Authenticity
Every participant is expected to contribute to an environment where people feel comfortable, valued, and safe.
2. Prohibited Behavior & Content
The following behaviors and content are not permitted on the Vybly platform or at any Vybly experience.
2.1 Sexual Content & Sexual Misconduct
- Explicit, pornographic, or sexually graphic content
- Unwanted sexual comments, advances, or objectification
- Sharing or displaying sexually explicit images without consent
- Threatening to share intimate images
- Soliciting sexual services
Vybly operates on clear, enthusiastic consent. Any violation may result in immediate removal.
2.2 Harassment, Bullying & Abuse
- Harassment, intimidation, or bullying
2.3 Violence & Safety Threats
- Threats or acts of physical violence
- Sexual assault or coercion
- Stalking or credible safety risks
- Participation in violent or criminal activity
Users with verified histories of serious violent or sexual offenses may be permanently removed to protect the community.
2.4 Hate, Discrimination & Extremism
- Hate speech or dehumanization based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
- Promotion of extremist, terrorist, or violent organizations
- Advocacy of violence or discrimination
2.5 Child Safety
- Any content or behavior that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors
- Discussion or promotion of harmful activity involving children
Zero tolerance applies.
2.6 Illegal Activity & Controlled Substances
- Sale, distribution, or promotion of illegal drugs
- Misuse of legal substances
- Promotion of illegal, regulated, or dangerous goods
2.7 Scams, Fraud & Deception
- Financial scams or deceptive schemes
- Fake investment offers
- Misrepresentation for financial or personal gain
2.8 Impersonation & False Identity
- Fake profiles or impersonating another person
- Maintaining multiple accounts
- Misleading others about identity or intent
2.9 Misinformation & Harmful Falsehoods
- Knowingly spreading false or misleading information
- Creating panic, fear, or disruption through misinformation
2.10 Spam & Platform Abuse
- Bulk or unsolicited messages
- Misleading links
- Repetitive or disruptive posting
- Using the platform for unauthorized commercial activity
2.11 Self-Harm & Eating Disorders
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages self-harm or eating disorders
Sharing personal experiences is allowed only when done sensitively and responsibly.
2.12 Graphic or Disturbing Content
- Graphic depictions of violence, injury, or weapons
- Content likely to cause distress or discomfort
3. Event Attendance & Participation Rules
3.1 Attendance Expectations
- Please attend events you book or cancel within the allowed timeframe
- Repeated no-shows (more than two) may result in suspension or permanent removal
3.2 Guests & +1s
- Bringing unregistered guests is not allowed unless explicitly approved by Vybly in advance
- Requests for a +1 must be coordinated with the Vybly team
3.3 Double Bookings
- Booking the same restaurant or event through multiple platforms to exploit promotions is prohibited
4. Inactive Accounts
Accounts that remain inactive for more than two years may be permanently deleted.
5. Reporting & Enforcement
Your safety matters.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Report it promptly through the app or by contacting Vybly support
- Reports should focus on safety concerns, not personal disagreements
We use a combination of human review and automated systems to:
- Investigate reports
- Take appropriate action, including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal
6. Enforcement Actions
While Vybly takes reasonable steps to promote safety, users attend events voluntarily and remain responsible for their own actions and personal safety.
Depending on severity, violations may result in:
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension
- Removal from events
- Permanent account termination
Vybly reserves the right to act immediately where safety is at risk.
7. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community & Content Guidelines to reflect evolving community needs or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
